What are the North American Indigenous Games?                                            

The North American Indigenous Games is a sporting event that is held every 4 years involving indigenous athletes from all over North America. Giving the youth an opportunity to compete in fifteen (15) different sports.

 

What are the age requirements?                

13-19, check our website for dates of birth to qualify (under schedules & events / sports).

 

What is the overall vision for the North American Indigenous Games?                 

Our overall vision and goals for the Regina 2014 North American Indigenous Games, Is to promote a healthy and positive lifestyle within the indigenous communities all across North America.                                                                                                                                                        We will celebrate and share the North American Indigenous cultures through showcasing of traditions, languages, art, songs, dance & ceremonies.

 

In measurable terms, 2014 NAIG will bring:

Bring 6,000 athletes and coaches to Regina Saskatchewan.

Involve more than 3,000 host community volunteers.

200 Cultural and Entertainment performers.

Thousands of participant’s family and friends.
